Bill Moss
Owner and Certified Master technician Bill Moss has been fixing cars since before he was even able to drive them. Such a strong desire to be around cars led to his first job at an Arlington service station when he was 16 years old.
While home from college, he took a job at a Volkswagen specialty shop and never looked back. Since then, Bill has spent time in specialty service, automotive parts sales, running a 24/7 "real" service station, and converting cars and trucks to run on compressed natural gas. His most recent career history involves 14 years as a partner at Auto Advantage, Inc. dba Advantage Certified Auto Group where he founded and developed the Service department. Advantage Certified is one of the largest BMW reseller and service facilities in the nation, and it provided Bill a wonderful opportunity to hone his craft and network with other professionals across the country.
Bill is a native Northern Virginian, growing up in Arlington and gradually moving west. He resides in Gainesville with his wife PA (Patricia Ann). Their daughter Sarah teaches middle school in Prince William County and their son Joey is going to college in Radford, VA. Bill and PA enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling and learning the game of golf.

Rod Marshall
Rod's technical addiction started with building model cars. He progressed to the real thing when, at the age of twelve, his grandfather gave him a full size 1969 Fiat 1500 Touring sedan in boxes. After he and his father and grandfather got that assembled and running, Rod became the local dirt bike fix-it guy for all of his riding buddies. Then he built his Mustang Mach One in high school and got a job in a local machine shop.
Rod has held positions ranging from technician to lead tech to shop foreman and manager in his 20 plus years in the business, having worked for local Ferrari and Jaguar dealerships, in addition to the last 8 years at Curry's Auto Service. While at Curry's, Rod was voted Tech of the Year in 2004 and was shop foreman from 2002-2009.
Rod loves European vehicles, particularly BMW, Audi, VW and Mercedes Benz. He is a very capable electronic diagnostician, and really enjoys keeping up with the technological advances in today's European vehicles.
When Rod spends his free time with friends and family, he enjoys riding dirt bikes with his son, going on Boy Scout outings, and having campfire cookouts with his wife and son.

Mario Cortez
Mario grew up going to his father's automotive shop to play and sometimes work. His father was a well respected automotive business owner in his native Cordoba, Argentina, and Mario knew he wanted to grow up and be a technician.
Mario went to a technical institute in Cordoba, and graduated as a certified automotive technician. After working in local shops, he pursued an opportunity at Fiat Auto of Argentina. There he held a variety of positions, including engine machinist, engine assembler, troubleshooter and test bench operator.
After moving to America, Mario worked in a couple of Prince William County European specialty shops, before bringing his talents to Ferris Automotive in 2005. Mario enjoys all aspects of auto repair, but engine repair is his favorite.
When he is not at work, Mario likes to go the beach with his sons, and he enjoys reading.

Chris Ferris
Chris has always had an interest in cars and the way they function. Both his father and uncle made their living working in the automotive field and Chris was often involved to some degree, whether he was old enough to help, or not. As he neared driving age, he got even more involved.
Chris worked for a couple of years in the Collision repair field, before settling into the Mechanical repair side of the business, where he has been for the last 10 years.
Chris enjoys working with the customer and being their liason to the more technical side of the industry.
When not talking cars, Chris can be found engaging in most outdoor sports, with water sports topping the list. He also enjoys reading, visual arts and live music.
