We understand that utilizing experienced, quality-driven people to speak with you and interpret mechanical information is important. We use the best in genuine parts and employ the most efficient and proven service procedures to ensure that we get it right the first time. We constantly analyze our quality and our pricing to make sure that we are delivering the best value to our clients. We are a full-scope mechanical service and repair facility for Volvo, BMW, Audi, VW and Mercedes automobiles. We have the experience, training and equipment to address almost any nature of service issue with these vehicles. Our collective experience also provides us the confidence to properly service many other imports, so we are glad to help our clients with their maintenance needs on other makes or models that they might own. In addition to getting the service and repairs done properly the first time, we understand that convenience is also a big factor in making your service decision.

Complimentary Courtesy Shuttle – We will be glad to run you home while we service your vehicle. We respectfully request that you inform us at the time of scheduling your appointment if you wish to take advantage of this service.

Pick Up and Delivery of your Vehicle – For routine service, as opposed to breakdown repairs, we will gladly pick up your car, service it and return it to your home or office. We offer this service to the Warrenton, Gainesville and Haymarket areas, but other areas are certainly feasible. Please don’t hesitate to ask.

Rental Car Reimbursement – Schedule a service appointment with us and let us know you need a rental car. Call Enterprise and tell them when you need a car, and they will arrange to pick you up at our facility at the time of your appointment. You pay Enterprise and we will reimburse you right on your invoice for 10% of your bill, up to $30 a day with a $150 maximum total.

5% Discount for Seniors – Tell us you qualify (over 60) and we will take 5% off of your invoice. We will not ask anyone if they qualify, and we will not challenge anyone that says they qualify.

State of the Art Equipment and Training – We are dedicated to using the right tools and equipment when servicing your high-line import. We have the manufacturer’s diagnostic equipment and special hand tools for the lines we specialize in servicing. We have the finest 4 camera digital alignment equipment available, to ensure the best for your automobile. We stay up-to-date with continuing education both in the classroom and with hands-on training. Several times throughout the year, we will close the store so that the entire team is included in specific training opportunities.

Shopping for Automotive Service – To most consumers, shopping for automotive repair seems as natural as shopping for any consumer product, but it is not.  You wouldn’t typically shop for a physician or a lawyer. You would seek referrals, recommendations, check credentials and note personal experiences.  On your vehicle, nearly every service or repair is the combination of a targeted diagnosis, quality parts and a highly trained professional application or installation of those parts.  You aren’t out to buy a water pump, brakes, or fan belts, you’re in the market for safe, reliable, efficient transportation at a good value.

Cheap parts and cheap technicians are readily available, but even a process as simple as an oil and filter change is not so basic anymore. The correct oil for most high-line automobiles is not just “any good oil”, and with suggested oil change intervals being dramatically extended, the wrong oil can be disastrous. Quality service and your overall satisfaction is our bottom line.

A good technician is not nearly as expensive as a bad technician.

Manufacturer’s Maintenance Schedules* – Although we are certainly at your service should your vehicle breakdown, our primary goal goes beyond reactive solutions. Our overall goal is to partner with you in the maintenance of your vehicle in a fashion that keeps you safe and free from inconvenience. We strongly suggest having your vehicle evaluated periodically by a professional that is familiar with your particular make and model. Regular oil services are a prime time to have this process performed. At Ferris Automotive, we never just change your oil and filter. In addition to checking all of your fluids and tire pressures, we check for the safe and proper function of many other sub-systems on your car, and we are knowledgeable about the typical problem areas on the cars we service. Having us perform your routine maintenance in no way jeopardizes your manufacturer’s warranty. In fact, we may help you maximize the coverage you have by identifying issues that are not readily apparent to the driver of the vehicle. For that reason we always encourage a vehicle inspection prior to the expiration of your manufacturer’s warranty.

*Since 2003, BMWs have not only a 4 year/50,000 mile defect warranty, but they also have coverage that includes the scheduled maintenance for that same time period. It is the opinion of Ferris Automotive (and countless other European service professionals) that the suggested oil service interval of 15,000 miles is too long. We advocate performing supplemental oil services between each “free” oil service, yielding a more acceptable 7500 mile interval. Please note that scheduled maintenance under the BMW plan can only be performed for “free” at an authorized BMW dealer. The supplemental services and check-overs can be done at a facility of your choosing. Insist on only BMW brand oil and filters for the supplemental services.
